City and it's movement will will be a never-ending source of admiration for me. No matter which street, avenue nor buildings. No matter the cars, motorbikes nor vehicles. If I can bow unto my knee and shoot in wide-angle, nothing more really matters.

La ciudad y su movimiento siempre serán una inagotable fuente de admiración para mí. No importa qué calle, avenida ni edificios. No importan los coches, motos o vehículos. Si puedo hincar la rodilla en tierra y disparar en gran angular, no me importa realmente nada más.

Any detail becomes suitable for capture; any form gets interesting, if you are searching for it. I'm not a follower of walking around with my cam, but with this project I started enjoying it. You never know when you will find something interesting. Sometimes it's just a question of diagonals.

Cualquier detalle es apto para ser capturado; cualquier forma se vuelve interesante, si estás buscándola. No soy muy partidario de andar por ahí con la cámara, pero con este proyecto estoy empezando a disfrutar de ello. Nunca sabes cuándo vas a encontrar algo interesante. A veces es sólo cuestión de diagonales.

Nothing but the road. I'm sure it's the most common element at my pictures. Sometimes even doesn't need anything more, just the road, so simple, so effective. I love it.

Nada más que la carretera. Estoy seguro que es el elemento más común en mis fotos. A veces incluso no necesita más, sólo la carretera, tan sencillo, tan efectivo. Me encanta.

Waiting at the subway station, I re-discovered the inner side of this skylight. I had no time for searching the perfect angle, but finally I liked very much the result. I think I shot it horizontally, but probably I was so inclined that the camera registered it in vertical. I prefer this way.

Esperando en la estación del metro, redescubrí el lado interno de este tragaluz. No tuve tiempo para buscar el ángulo perfecto, pero al final me gustó mucho el resultado. Creo que disparé horizontalmente, pero lo más probable es que estuviera tan inclinado que la camara lo registrara en vertical. Lo prefiero así.

Finally I got a view from my balcony I liked. I was trying since I moved, not very successfully, because I was turning mad with vertical & horizontal lines. Until I got it: it was as simple as slightly leaning the camera and change all of them into diagonals. Sometimes it's difficult for me to escape from the rawest objectivity and getting more risky results, but it's worth.

Por fin conseguí una vista desde mi balcón que me gustara. Estaba intentándolo desde que me mudé, sin demasiado éxito, ya que me estaba volviendo loco con las líneas horizontales y verticales. Hasta que lo vi claro: tan simple como inclinar un poco la cámara y convertirlas en diagonales. A veces me resulta difícil escapar de la más cruda objetividad y conseguir resultados más arriesgados, pero merece la pena.

Silent shot of a noisy motif. Despite my difficulty of finding interesting photographs indoors, I found quite bright the amplifier grid, and finally I got a striking picture. Now that I barely have time to play the guitar, this is some sort of "musical solace".

Silenciosa toma de un ruidoso motivo. A pesar de mi dificultad para encontrar fotos interesantes en interior, me llamó bastante la atención la rejilla del amplificador, y al final conseguí una imagen llamativa. Ahora que apenas tengo tiempo para tocar la guitarra, esto es algo así como un "alivio musical".

Returning back home in the tramway, I was searching for photographs but there was no good result. But when I saw this shoe, after a "Don't move!", I got it inmediately. I liked very much the foot composition with the diagonal lines, and the whole low saturation of the scene.

Volviendo a casa en el tranvía, buscaba fotos pero no salían bien. Pero cuando vi esa zapatilla, tras un "¡No te muevas!", la conseguí inmediatamente. Me gustó mucho la composición del pie junto a las diagonales, y la baja saturación del conjunto.

This is the second try of a first impression. I'm convinced the moment I first thought about taking the photograph I would have got a better picture. I think that too much times we miss good pictures because of sloth or shame of being among the people with the camera for shooting.

Es el segundo intento de una primera impresión. Estoy convencido de que en el momento en que me planteé la foto habría quedado mejor que cuando volví para hacerla. Creo que muchas veces se pierden buenas imágenes por pereza o vergüenza a plantarse en medio de todos con la cámara para conseguirlas.

I took this photograph while I was waiting inside the car for a photo session. I like this picture as a starting point of the project: it doesn't shows too much clearly what it's photographed, and seems very interesting to me the sensation of uncertainty it produces. In addition, I properly fixed my problem with vertical & horizontal lines that I still don't know if it's my fault, the camera, or both.

Tomé esta imagen mientras esperaba dentro del coche para una sesión de fotos. Me gusta esta fotografía como punto de partida del proyecto: no muestra claramente qué se fotografía, y me parece interesante la sensación de desconcierto que produce. Además, con ella conseguí compensar correctamente mi problema con las líneas verticales y horizontales, que todavía no sé si es culpa mía, de la cámara, o de ambos.
